How much does it cost to card my yard?

We now offer tiered pricing! Something for everyone! Please contact us for photo examples of our different pkg sizes!

Packages/Prices below are for 1 day rentals in Melissa/Anna, areas outside of these cities are as follows: 

Van Alstyne & Far NE McKinney add a $10 travel fee, Gunter add $30, Princeton add $35, New Hope & Blue Ridge add $25, Allen add $30, . (Princeton, New Hope, Blue Ridge, Allen we will only travel to if another YCQ is not available.)

*All events for Saturday and Sunday are an additional $30 and are installed the Friday before the event. If you have a Monday event and want it there Prior to 11am on Monday, it will also be included in the weekend rate. All installs are subject to weather, but we will be in contact with you regarding any weather related conditions.  We cannot install during heavy rain, lightning, or strong winds. Strong wind may require us to remove the signs early. We cannot refund for bad weather.

GRADUATION GREETINGS:

Make your graduate feel extra special with a custom yard sign! Each graduation display includes “Congrats,” the graduate’s first name, balloons, diplomas, caps, an inspirational phrase, stars, and a sport or activity (if available). Due to high demand, we are unable to accommodate custom phrases.

Grad signs are available in classic black and silver or black and gold, with the option to incorporate school colors or a color of your choice. College logos can be added for an additional $10 if available—reserve early to allow time for acquisition!

All graduation greetings start at $200. They will be installed either the evening before or on the day of your event and will be up for one day, subject to scheduling. A second day can be added for $100. This applies to the actual graduation date and the weekend closest to graduation. Other dates for parties that fall a week or more outside of graduation, will remain the normal $30. This is due to limited inventory, and is an effort to curtail multi-day requests that limit availability for others.  Rush fees apply for requests made within 72 hours.

Valedictorians and Salutatorians receive free LED lights and an extra day at no charge! Simply email us proof of school ranking.

The Royal Whisper – $95 w/name $85 w/out A simple yet elegant greeting, perfect for a charming celebration.

The perfect choice for a small yard but still looks great on larger yards as well. This includes a greeting (message on one large sign), balloons, gifts and up to two pieces of flair representing their interests.   This size typically spans 6-10’ wide.  Phrases available: Happy Birthday, Welcome home, Happy Retirement/Anniversary, or Congrats.

A Noble Affair $120 – A festive and eye-catching setup, perfect for making any occasion feel grand.

This is the typical birthday greeting, only with YCQ Melissa, nothing is really typical, we always go above and beyond to bring you the nicest signs available!  This greeting includes a single name*, balloons, presents, etc. In addition, we will include up to 4 signs representing the recipients interest. It will be very full and beautiful. Typically spans 10-16’ wide.

The Majestic Spotlight $160 – A large and dazzling setup that demands attention.

This package is for those that want their sign to really stand out.  It will include more flair (presents, phrases like “Dream Big”, or “May all your wishes come true”, etc., and at least 4-6 interest related signs, (if available) to really personalize the sign. While all our signs are meant to be a snapshot in time, this level takes it up a notch since it has more room for personalization. When you snap a photo of your loved one with their sign, you’ll always have a reminder of what they were passionate about at that moment!  Depending on the length of the name, and what looks best on your lawn, we may use two or three levels. No matter what, you can be sure it will look amazing! Typically spans 14-20’ wide.

The Queen’s Reign $260 – A deluxe package featuring more details and flair, worthy of a true celebration.

For those who want nothing but the best, this is our top-tier display. Designed to impress, this elaborate setup features multiple height levels* and layered elements for a striking visual impact.

If weather conditions prevent us from going as tall and wide as planned, rest assured—we will go above and beyond to ensure your display is exceptionally full and eye-catching. Our reputation is built on delivering excellence, not cutting corners!

This includes your greeting or single phrase, recipients first name*, giant 4’ tall numbers* for their age if requested and complimentary LED lights! Typically spans 22-30′.

The King’s Coronation STARTS at $300: For weddings, backdrops or special events, this is the ultimate, custom, over-the-top yard display, fit for a once-in-a-lifetime event. Designed to make a lasting impression

This is a custom package. This is for someone who has a specific vision in mind, and wants a very specific sign.  Perfect for weddings, bridal showers, milestone parties, etc.  Makes a wonderful backdrop for photo’s. This needs at least a 4-6week lead time and includes one hour of consulting time either in person or via phone, to achieve the look you want.  Pieces may need to be custom created, requiring us to hire a graphic designer, the more lead time the better as these need to be ordered in advance. Price does not include custom graphics or themes that need to be ordered, but it does include the cost for anything we currently have in inventory.  Additional fees for any custom theme, or color we need to acquire will apply. Custom pieces will not be ordered until paid in full, please allow enough time for creation, and shipping. If we only need to order graphics, the additional amount usually won’t exceed $150.  If we have to order specific letter colors, it could be quite a bit more, letters can be approx. $15 each.  There are NO refunds or cancellations on custom orders.  This package INCLUDES lights, and a second day. Custom graphics remain the property of Yard Card Queen.

Other Services and Add-on’s:

Extra day: $30+ Use this especially if you are having an evening party and don’t want the sign removed before or during your event. Based on greeting size and availability.  (NOT available for graduation)

LED lights: $10 Make your display stand out and shine at night!.  40 foot cord provided. (Included in The Queen Reign and Kings Coronation packages)

4’ Numbers: $10 for single digits $15 for double digits.  These are so fun and definitely make an impression! (Included in the Queen package)

6′ cakes or characters: $25 (Bear, Unicorn, Dinosaur, Deer, Stitch)

Extra name for a combined greeting or middle name: $25

Extra phrase: $40 (no longer than Happy Birthday)

Commercial balloons on stands: $50 per stand/5 balloons

High school Love the Cardinals or Love the Coyotes: $35 sign you keep

Under Elf surveillance sign:$25 sign you keep

All displays include presents/balloons/stars, etc. and specific interests for the individual, if available.

Additional Fees (not typical) that you could incur:

Rush Fees: In a perfect world we all would have everything planned out, but we know sometimes you forget, or need something last minute. If we have availability, we would love to help! We DO NOT charge rush fees for New babies, Military Homecoming, or Release from Hospital/Get well.  Our rush fees for all other events are as follows:

24 hours or less to install time: $50

48 hours to install time: $35

72 hours or less to install time: $25

Sprinkler spots or Dog Urine: $50 cleaning fee assessed.  It takes hours of cleaning to remove calcium and mineral deposits from the signs.

Stands: $50 for 2 (8′ total) If needed for indoor or rock yards

Return trip: $25 If your yard is not prepped properly with enough water, and we have to wait, water ourselves, or come back (we will determine which we can do) there will be an additional fee and must be paid before the greeting goes in.

Soaker hose/Drip line: We offer a drip line hose, free, if you pick up and use on your lawn. If you need us to bring it, and set up/turn off we charge $25 for this service, mileage fees may apply.
