Welcome to Yard Card Queen – Franklin!
My name is Meagan Bourque, and I am married with three children ages 18, 14 and 10. My full-time job is the Director of Human Resources at a local healthcare facility. I have been in Human Resources for 8 years now and love what I do. My husband owns and operates a contracting company where I help with the accounting and bookkeeping as well. My oldest son Mason is 18 and will be graduating this year. He has always been an independent child and loved working with his hands alongside his father. My middle son Tate on the other hand does not want to follow in dad’s footsteps and get his hands dirty, unless a basketball is involved. I began looking for a business that Tate and I could do together on the weekends and when he is out of school. My youngest daughter of course is excited and wants to join in and help as well. I have always loved yard signs, but every time I wanted to book one with another local business, I would either not get a returned call, or if they responded they were booked and unable to accommodate my request. This is when I thought I should be doing this in my area! I thought about going at it alone, but I had no idea where to start. I started researching yard sign companies and found there are many out there that want you to purchase a franchise and had way too many rules, not to mention they were very expensive. Yard Card Queen was just what I was looking for. A low-cost startup price with an abundance of resources and guidance.
